Zock Build

Here are the tools i use when building gunpla.
Most of them aren't necessary to complete a kit, the important ones are.
Sprue cutters, Model knife and some plastic cement.

The paints and primers that i use on my gunpla, i tend to use the Tamiya brand.

Here are the sprues for the HGUC 1/144 Zock

Putting together the body, seems like the zock has an inner frame of sorts.

The claws are made up of 3 separate pieces and have good articulation, here is a shot of 2 ( with with panel lining and one without )

Here is a shot of one of the arms, decent range of movement for something so large and bulky.

Body shot with the arms completed, the mono-eye can be moved all the way around the kit ( its symmetrical )
Last piece for the head/torso, clear plastic pieces are used for the cockpit which i thought was quite cool.
On to the legs, they are made up of only a couple of pieces and took no time at all to assemble

Inside the lower body and legs, fairly limited articulation in this department but thats what happens when the legs are so short and chunky

Completed assembly, honestly the kit looks great as is but im sure some paint could improve it.

Here we are after panel lining it, hard to make out but the detail is vastly improved even with so little spots to panel.

Completed, no paint this time as the kit looks great with out it.
I wouldn't recommend this kit to some one looking to get cool poses out of it due to fairly limited range of movement in the legs (although the claws and arms are great.), but its a fun build and even though i may be blinded by my love for retro/zeon/underwater suites i think its a fantastic looking kit.
